Truth
In case you were not aware, truth is now available from a small Canadian outfit seeking to improve science literacy by increasing the amount and quality of science writing. Think McSweeney's but for scientists and science bloggers. You can get merit badges there too!
Hope for Pandora is a place for a conversation about science and medicine. This site is one attempt to build a dialogue about science, medicine and society. You'll also find plenty of vignettes about my experiences in graduate school and as a medical student en route to becoming an academic emergency physician. I welcome and appreciate comments.

I'm an emergency medicine resident at Yale-New Haven Hospital. My academic interests include medical humanities and the social and political influences on science and medicine. At home, I like to garden and tackle do-it-yourself projects.
